Director of Interactive
The Interactive Director is responsible for driving a client's vision and brand through digital communications strategies, creating a point of difference
and a leading approach for the brand. Emphasis is on integrating online communications with offline communication activity and setting strategy for
digital projects. This individual will know how to recommend and drive interactive marketing programs, and their broad knowledge of online media,
ability to quickly learn a client's business, and drive initiatives will ensure success. This individual will also build, guide and manage a team,
compile and manage annual budgets, and support the agency's financial objectives.
Ideal profile: Visionary, creating strategy (innovative ideas), tenacious personality, proactive, enjoys getting in front of people, concise and
dynamic communicator (can get to bottom line and sell to VIPs), good at pitching new ideas. An innovator with proven/demonstrated innovative work,

Responsibilities

Client Work and Business Development
Serves as an executive sponsor on a top-tier account
Builds lasting relationships with senior clients and helps leaders build client relationships
Seeks ongoing client opportunities for growth and increased revenue for the agency
Drives large experience pitches
Proactively identifies new business opportunities
Planning, Management & Staffing
Develops discipline's organizational structure and capacity plan
Facilitates optimal levels of staffing and utilization for the discipline based on agreed-upon priorities
Identifies top talent and proactively develops and implements strategies to recruit, grow, and retain them
Provides clear career paths for the discipline and champions skill and career development opportunities
Drives the success of performance management activities within the discipline
Actively promotes intra- and inter-disciplinary communication and collaboration
Reviews and approves increases, bonuses, and promotions for all employees in the discipline
Creates budgets and forecasts

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in related field
10-15 years experience, at least 5 years in senior management
Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for a wide range of clients in the digital space that deliver results
Acknowledged thought-leader
Excellent leadership and management abilities
Proven expertise at motivating and managing teams in developing, communicating, and selling industry-leading concepts to clients
Expert at translating insights into breakthrough concepts and actionable experience strategies<
Extensive industry network
Tangible, well-grounded sense of design with respect to creating simple, elegant, aesthetically pleasing interfaces based on
user-centered design principles
Demonstrated expertise in consumer or B2B eCommerce, transactional and/or software application interfaces
Demonstrated experience leading and/or observing user research and usability testing and in translating results into design decisions
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in the development of scenarios, workflows, site architectures, interaction notes and wireframes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Clear, compelling, and charismatic presenter in client presentations and industry events
Excellent ability to interface with senior leaders within client organizations
Effective and creative brainstorming, ideation, and other problem-solving skills
